When Crespino (rosehip berries) reaches the highest splendour of its colours, it is the ideal time to harvest Nebbiolo grapes coming from the terracing perched on the living rock in the subzones of Valtellina Superiore. Fermentation and maturation take place in light toasted new French oak barrels over a period of 15 months. After that, it is of vital importance to keep it ageing for at least 12 months in cool, dark cellars before release.
