Aglianico del Vulture DOC - Colli Cerentino

Only the choice grapes have been used of the vineyards in the north of Basilicata in Maschito (Pz) in the age up to 80 years. The grapes are harvested rigorously by hand in the first and second week of November.

The alcoholic fermentation follows takes place inside 500-liter wooden barrels for 25/30 days. The wine obtained is poured into French oak barrels with new woods, for a period that varies normally, from 24 to 36 months.

The wine is bottled and before being sold it is kept in the cellars for about 12 months. he variety of its aroma is appreciated thanks to the high integrity of tasting and smelling, in added the quality and balance of the wooden spices released by the oak turn the wine a very valuable end product.

The alcoholic fermentation is performed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of around 27 degree. The resulting wine is filled in other stainless steel tanks and rests for 48 hours
